A new international IS-mentor users' team was formed in the last two-three weeks. Some of our international telecentre specialist colleagues joined: Arantza Ruiz (Spain), Karin Delgadillo Poepsel (Ecuador), Igor Suljagic (Croatia), Shahid Uddin Akbar (Bangladesh). Their aim is to analyse the IS-mentor system - by using the English version in their countries if it seems useful to them -, and to look for possibilities of developing new language applications (e.g. spanish, croatian). The Spanish IS-mentor application is already accessible. We - the IT-mentor staff - are happy to share our mentoring experience with other countries, and are open to their initiations to cooperate. Different language applications will be developed by the request of our colleagues. Firstly, in the system we use commands in English, which will be replaced by commands in other languages with help of foreign application developers. So, welcome on board, please share your impressions with us about the IS-mentor, and also invite more users from your countries, if you feel like. The English IS-mentor database is not fully uploaded. Kata Miklós (see first article in News) is working systematically on it, she is opening new categories step-by-step and uploading English language resources already found and used in the Hungarian application.
