PRIM Online set out an interview with Szilárd Molnár, the Director of Information Society Research Institute (ITTK) with the title Hungary and the hosting information society. ITTK was not opportunist regarding prevailing governments in criticising them for the situation of information society. Professionals inside are aware of its attitude “to feel indignant on your behalf” for being convinced to be in their interest only by judging strictly. Led by this approach, a critical announcement is set forth by Szilárd Molnár, who anyway a quiet and sober-minded person, is an internationally acclaimed resercher of the human and social issue of this topic. We had better draw our attention to him who says as follows: “The government concentrated to hardware (phisical) infrastructure first of all, certainly it was unavoidable, however actions should have been made to even things up. It is worth mentioning Köznet (CommonNet) within the program of Közháló (Common Network), i.e. the points of network of eMagyarorszag (eHungary). Having been set up an infrastructure this is reachable primarily by users, and unless human services are rendered to them, nothing will change. Simply saying only few facilities are at hand for non-users in order to buzz about and take advantage by own experience, and few professional and service are at disposal to give assistance to them. IT mentors whose vocational history is unprecedented yet are just a tool to get through. No matter how much years had passed since it was defined by the Strategy of the Hungarian Information Society, it was initiated by civil foundations that united common efforts for vocational training and employment.
