The IT-mentor is important also for the blind people
parbeszed.jpgThe World of The Blind magazine has published an article about the conference on Dialogue about the IT-mentoration, held last December. Peter Szatmari has also published it on his blog (see in lin) from which the enthusiasm and expectation towards the new profession and opportunities of employment can be clearly felt. Among others the article emphasizes the followings: "Lajos Korózs the political state secretary of ICSSZEM flashed a possible and much more lifelike alternative solution of how the profession of IT-mentor can be linked up with the present helping jobs. As an example he told that today there are 825 settlements where caretakers operate, who fetch the medicine for those, who need it, take people to work or to school and back home, and looks after the menthal state of those, who are not looked after by anybody. So the caretaker of a village has a car and has money but they should have some knowledge of computer science to be able to help in this field, too. It means that the different, already operating services should be linked which would be great help to access to services of Information Technology."
