One year is a long time in the life of a web site. It's enough to discover if the people are interested in it, if they consider it worth using it. The content of IT-Mentor are in 24 applications (5 of them in foreign language) 18738 sources (854 thematical groups, 1950 topics, 3455 portals, 7697 network services, 4782 personal user examples). In 2005 the web site was visited 74231 times with 420266 registered downloads. This means 245 visitors and 1486 downloads per day. December was a really outstanding month with duplicating the number of visitors for 21000. In the last days the number of visitors frequently exceeded the 1000/day. We have 765 users from 205 settlements, in 46 places, service is provided by advertising IT-Mentoring, while 191 visitors use the services as IT-mentor as per the login registration. There are 61 persons in the system, who wish to make himself master of IT-mentor and intend to get a job in this field. It is difficult for us to form an opinion of above if it is a success or not. In Hungary the idea we have initiated was unknown before and nowadays the Google shows 22000 hits on the local sites and for the expression "Itmentor" our service is found in the first lines, internationally. Today this highly contributes to the continuous growing of popularity. We highly appreciate the visitors' opinion, too, wishing them a successful and Happy New Year.
